Join The Ghostlight Stage Company for this poignant 2-hour workshop led by creator, educator, and community builder, Darnell Pierre Benjamin - now streaming virtually! This 2-hour recording will go beyond “lecture style,” and got partipants on their feet with interactive exercises and engaging discussions surrounding the topic of anti-racism efforts and how we can apply them in our artistic work. Join in on the conversation virtually by commenting along as you view with your thoughts!
2 Hour Workshop Including:
- defining and discussing racism and the four broad types that exist
- recognizing the disparity of racial diversity leadership in the arts
- self-evaluating and initiating space for personal accountability
- engaging in healthy discourse around anti-racism
- researching deeper into anti-racism through provided resources
