Sarah Spurling (they/them) is a Cincinnati native performer, choreographer, and instructor. Graduating from Northern Kentucky University with a degree in theatre and minor in dance, they use their creative expression to promote social change and community growth.

Sarah performs, choreographs, and instructs with Pones Inc. Credits include co-choreographing “Deaf Republic” at Cincinnati State, featured in films such as "La Danse”, and “Rainbow Box" documentary by Michael Coppage, “Lotus Mandala” performance with our Social Justice Apprentices in partnership with Artworks, and more. Sarah has performed at the Aronoff's Blackbox Theatre with Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre in partnership with Mutual Dance Theatre. Sarah has performed at Ensemble Theatre for “REFLECT: A Disco Oddity”, Mad Anthony Theatre for “Cinderella”, Cincinnati Art Museum's Art After Dark “A Happening” and “Into the Wild”, Artworks “Art Off the Walls”, Music Hall, and more site specific locations. Sarah has acted in local Fringe productions including The Traveling Plays and Keeping Our Torch. Sarah studied Ballet with Miami Valley Ballet Theatre and performed in their Nutcracker and Coppelia. Sarah studied Modern with Demitrius Klien Dance Company and performed at venues including The Ohio State House and more.

Sarah loves instructing dance with Cincinnati Children's Theatre and Pones for their annuel “Be.Well: Groove” Music Video. Sarah enjoys instructing Ballet, Creative Movement, Tap, and Hip Hop with Mutual Art Centers. Sarah has received Trauma Informed training through Bartol Foundation along with Social Emotional Learning training from Cincinnati Arts Association where she is a dance instructor. Sarah hosts SEL Dance parties at Cincinnati Children's Hospital as well as teaching Arts In Healing, Arts in Activism along with line dancing and Salsa at their local Cancer Support Community.

Sarah is a Cincinnati Public Radio Community Advisory Board Member, as well as a member with the League of Cincinnati Theatres, Global Arts In Medicine Cohort 5, a member of the National Organization of Arts in Health, and the National Dance Education Organization. Sarah has an intense passion for all things space, astronomy, and works as an event assistant, DJ, history tour guide, and telescope pointer at the Cincinnati Observatory.

Sarah is deeply passionate about trans and queer rights, focusing their current / upcoming creative art projects on centering queer, trans and BIPOC stories. Sarah is grateful to share their love of the Arts with the Cincinnati community.

Ariel Mary Ann (she/her) is a local theatre artist born and raised in the Cincinnati area. By day, she’s a public health advocate. By night, she’s a reviewer, playwright, actor, and a Stephen Sondheim obsessed musical theatre nerd. You can often find her at various theatre productions around town. As a theatre artist, much of her self created work centers around issues exploring race, gender, sexuality, and what it means to be othered in America. She’s worked with The Know Theatre, The Educational Theatre Association, Cincinnati Music Theatre, The Cincinnati Arts Association, League of Cincinnati Theatres, InBocca Performance, Falcon Theatre, Clifton Players and other arts organizations in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Region. Ariel takes joy in artistic collaboration and is excited to be working with The Ghostlight Stage Company.

Julie Sonia Locker (she/her) is a Cincinnati-based performing artist and Advancement Officer at Purcell Marian High School. The nexus of her two careers is her belief in inclusion and accessibility, whether she is helping community members see themselves reflected onstage or raising funds to keep quality education for high schoolers accessible. She has performed and written for Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Fringe, Pones, The Know Theatre, The Carnegie, Richmond Shakespeare Festival, and Actor's Theatre of Columbus. She is also an improviser and sketch comedian with ComedySportz and Alphas.

​Caleb Redslob (he/him) is a dedicated performer and producer with deep roots in the Cincinnati arts community, having collaborated with organizations such as The Carnegie, Acting Up, and Improv Cincinnati. Passionate about youth development, Caleb advocates for accessible creative opportunities that empower young people and foster community growth. He believes the arts are essential to a healthy, vibrant society. Caleb lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Maddie, their daughter, Nora, and their beloved pets Indie, Freddie, and Watson.

Beasley (they/them) is a multi-hyphenate theatre artist based in Cincinnati, OH. In 2022, they got their BFA in Drama from the University of Oklahoma. That same year they were accepted into the apprenticeship program at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. Following their year at Ensemble, they have worked at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, The Know Theatre, and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Their work can be seen through the lens of acting, directing, and teaching with a focus on using theatre as a tool of healing. 

Mary Beringer (she/they) is a theater lover born and raised in Cincinnati. She has worked with the Mason Community Players, Know Theater Serials, Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative, Shakespeare in South Park, and Cincinnati LAB Theater. She has done everything from acting to stage managing to directing, but her true love is playwriting. Her play, Synapse was a part of Ghostlight Stage Company's first One Act Double Feature, and her play Four Horses was featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Other plays of hers have been performed as near as Dayton and as far as California.

Mary has two Masters degrees, one in Education and one in English. A former high school English teacher, she is currently the Grants Manager for the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, writing all grants for their 32 county service area. In her four years as a grant writer, she has raised over $5.5 million for various nonprofits including The Foodbank of Dayton and The Human Race Theater Company.

Victoria L. Dickman-Burnett, PhD (she/her) is a survey and community-based participatory action researcher, playwright, dramaturg, and multi-modal storyteller. A doctoral graduate of The University of Cincinnati, her dissertation blended the arts, social change, and public health to empower high school students to use participatory action research to address sexual violence in their school and community. She has integrated visual arts into a few academic publications, including a recent publication co-authored with two of her undergraduate mentees. Her recent creative work includes writing and directing Hamlet, Prince of Denmark PI as part of Serials at the Know Theatre, serving as dramaturg for a production of The Taming of the Shrew with Cincinnati Unrehearsed Shakespeare, and writing and executive producing the audiodrama Lavender Evening Fog.  Victoria also volunteers as a survey consultant for a number of nonprofit organizations across Cincinnati. She is excited about Ghostlight’s unique interdisciplinary approach and focus on equity, anti-racism, and accessibility.

Larry Daniels (he/him/his) is a storyteller and arts administration professional who moved to Cincinnati in 2023. His career has spanned more than 10 years in arts administration, nonprofit fundraising, and professional performance. Currently, Larry is working as a nonprofit fundraising consultant supporting annual and campaign fundraising projects in the Cincinnati region. During his professional career in NYC, he spent 2016-2020 as a company member of Third Rail Project’s Bessie Award-Winning immersive theater production, Then She Fell; an experiential performance combining a “hospital ward, the writings of Lewis Carroll, and only 15 audience members.” His time at Then She Fell developed his interest in teaching and creating immersive work as a means of engaging audiences in a non-traditional format of storytelling. Combining both movement and text to build a world where the audience can become a part of the story is a driving force in his creative projects.  Larry has had the privilege of working with White Wave Young Soon Kim Dance Company, Megan Bascom & Dancers, and Mike Esperanza’s BARE Dance Company; Larry received his BFA in Dance from the University of California Santa Barbara where he performed works by Lar Lubovitch, Jennifer Muller, Austin McCormick, Christopher Pilafian, Nancy Colohan, and Mira Kingsley. In December of 2023, he received his MA in Arts Leadership & Management at Wichita State University. Larry currently lives in Mt Adams with his Husband, EJ, and their French bulldog, Howie.

Sarah Day Featherstone (she/her) is a Cincinnati native with a passion for the arts and the creative community in this city. For more than a decade, she worked in non profit development locally for ArtWorks and the Contemporary Arts Center and abroad with an anti-human-trafficking NGO. Through this, she has gained extensive experience in fundraising, event production and community-building. In 2020, Sarah decided to pursue a long-time dream and started ZEZII, a small jewelry business. Sarah received her bachelor’s degree from University of Cincinnati in organizational communication and public relations. In her free time, she enjoys travel, watching documentaries, learning about wine and spending time with her husband Asa and doberman Sunny. 

Kris Rutter (she/her) is a writer, teacher, and human rights researcher working in the Cincinnati area. She loves her job teaching English and AP Literature classes at Clark Montessori High School.

She received her bachelor’s in English from Marietta College and her master’s in literature from Miami University. She also holds certification in secondary Montessori pedagogy.

As a student of human rights issues, she has studied genocide in Poland, Canada, and Israel, presented research on trauma at the 9/11 Memorial Museum’s NYU Mellon Conference, and generated new ideas to address child homelessness through AFT’s Teacher Leaders Program. Most recently, she has been drawing on these experiences to develop her voice as an emerging playwright and member of the Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative.

In her free time, she enjoys hosting dinner parties, over-decorating her classroom, and taking road trips to New York City with her wonderful husband, Emil, and their cat, Sumi.

Holly Wanek (she/her) was born and raised in the Cincinnati area. Holly graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BS in Neurobiology and a Masters of Public Health in Health Promotion and Education. Holly is currently the Community Education Manager at Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio where she provides relationship and sexual health education to middle and high school students, adults, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Holly has also provided professional training on creating trauma-informed spaces and educational settings.
