Looking for a sustainable way to revamp your wardrobe? We are so excited to bring you our first ever Stylized Clothing Swap! 👗👚🧣👔
We’ll have all the things you love about a traditional clothing swap, but with an artistic twist! We’ll have racks of free clothing curated by professional Cincinnati stylists who will be ready to help you find your unique style. Partnering with the Boys & Girls club, this swap will have career readiness in mind with a focus on professional business attire and interview-ready clothing. In addition, there will be food, drinks, music, local art, raffles, and more! Free entry with clothing donation, or pay what you can at the door!
Rebecca Shakespeare Armstrong (she/her) is an artist and designer from Cincinnati, Ohio who has a passion for creating unique and inspiring works of art and fashion. From a young age, she wanted to be in the fashion industry. She has been passionate about creating pieces that are meaningful and full of vibrancy. Rebecca is the founder of a local Cincinnati clothing line, Beyond Fresh, and Cincy Cocoa Bloggers. She is a member of the Black Design Collective. She has a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Product Development from Bowling Green State University.
Naimah Quinae (she/her) is a graphic designer, stylist, illustrator, model, and fashion designer based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Launching her first successful brand at only 14 years old, she was always meant for a career in fashion. Studying graphic design at Cincinnati State, she has professionally developed brand identities for small businesses throughout Cincinnati. With previous experience in retail styling, she is no stranger to helping others put their best foot forward! Naimah is the founder of Monster Season, a clothing line coming soon to Cincinnati. She is also the founder of To Be Vegan and Black - a project documenting veganism in the Black community.
Eliana Batsakis (she/her) was most recently seen on Netflix's Next in Fashion. She is a fashion designer, artist, and creative director based in Cincinnati, Ohio. She loves bright fabrics, and bold silhouettes and isn't afraid of stand-out style! She can't wait to help you find your perfect look! She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, earning her BFA in 2021. Eliana in the founder of ELIANA BATSAKIS, a fashion brand specializing in handmade one-of-a-kind pieces. She has recognition from the Council of Fashion Designers of America and has been featured on Netfix for her unique designs. She is also the Fine Arts Director of The Ghostlight Stage Company.
Raffle baskets will be available on the day of the event that include all sorts of fun prizes from tickets to upcoming events in the Cincinnati area, to free hour-long coachings with local voice, dance and acting teachers, and more! Some raffle prizes include: 8 tickets to the Cincinnati Observatory, 1 hour acting coaching with Alyssa Batsakis, 1 hour dance class (group or private) with Sarah Spurling, 4 tickets to a ComedySportz event of your choice, 2 tickets to The Ghostlight Stage Company's upcoming One Act Double Feature event, earrings from local boutique ZEZII, and more!
